It's crafted to look like a young woman in a very fine blue and black silk dress. Halas could have represented this woman by as “a small porcelain doll. It could be the “unnamed mortal woman” that would become the Raven Queen. He could have been from Æor or another southern (floating) city. Possibly, Halas’ betrayer is Vespin Chloras, before he opens the gates for the Betrayer Gods. Who was the enemy? Probably someone very clever or well informed since Halas was according to Yussa Errenis "not a very team player." Whoever did it managed to understand his magical engineering. In Halas’ mind, the “magical jar” would serve as a vessel and would be carved with some material found in the Crystal Mines, a ruby, but the stone was “sabotaged by one of his enemies, trapping him within it”. Whether he did succeed or did not is unknown since his records “abruptly stop there” (though the fact that he has been trapped in a ruby for 1,500 years tends to prove it), and that’s where my theory begins. The Folding Halls were a huge laboratory dedicated to his work for he possibly was in the possession of eternal life, without having to deal with necromancy or lichdom. The various experiments since the original discovery took place in Halas’ self-created plane(s), the “Heirloom Sphere” aka “The Folding Halls”. After a few unsuccessful attempts to “institute undying nature into a human body” Halas finally “developed a possible vessel” that took the form of “a magical jar”. Halas, while not very pious, was more interested in the properties of the chambers and in the heart, who seemed to be beating and living by its own. Whether it was by chance, mistake or intention, Halas discovered between the planes a “simple extra planar chamber” containing a “heart probably belonged to The Laughing Hand”, a champion known as the Undying Chosen of The Crawling King, the Betrayer God Torog. Presumably, Æor and Zemniaz were rival cities. One of them was Halas Lutagran, who lived in Zemniaz. A newer magical energy seems to have been discovered, or rediscovered, that can seemingly adjust such properties with ease. That time probably was the “dunamis” / dunamancy era: “some newer arcane experiments regarding time and reality being fielded within the Soltryce Academy in Rexxentrum. To some it was probably the Golden Age of the Prime Material: floating cities, powerful tools and weapons but mostly mighty mages. Some 1,5000 years ago, after the Prime Deities and the Betrayer Gods battled for the fate of Exandria, the Age of Arcanum began. About this episode, look for my comment here.
